Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and repairs of bakery facilities, including production equipment, guarding, and utilities.
  • Ensuring all areas are audit-ready from a facilities perspective.
  • Collaborating with departments to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Supporting quality and hygiene teams with audit preparation and cleaning routines.
  • Performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Preparing bakery and cold store environments for audits and visits.
  • Participating in improvement projects with fellow technicians.
  • Facilitating deep cleaning activities as instructed.
  • Closing out repair and maintenance tasks, including guarding and pest control measures.
  • Building proofing and other general maintenance tasks.
Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably with a trades background. Experience in facilities maintenance is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Strong communication, proactive attitude, and adaptability are required. Basic computer skills, including MS Office, are necessary. Flexibility, task management, and the ability to work under pressure are important qualities.
