Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of electrical activities on plant & equipment to maintain safe operations while achieving production goals and quality standards. Knowledge of mechanical resolution is also required. Responsibilities include sourcing parts, documenting maintenance activities, PMs, installation, and validation of equipment. Support other groups like Process, QA, and Maintenance in resolving issues and improvements. Service and maintain all plant & equipment site-wide. Work from schematics, sketches, and instructions. As the lead, ensure tasks are delegated and completed, communicating with managers and supervisors to ensure smooth operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain plant and equipment, develop specifications, and monitor standards.
  • Equipment includes AHU's, chillers, compressors, dryers, and electrical systems.
  • Specify and purchase spares, negotiate with procurement.
  • Build relationships with customers and suppliers for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in meetings to prioritize and assign tasks.
  • Coordinate with Quality for customer-related issues.
  • Ensure work orders are processed via SAP.
  • Research and implement new maintenance processes with vendors.
  • Develop documentation in line with ISO standards and review regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and company policies.
  • Act according to company principles and code of conduct.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education

Time served Electrician - Advanced level 6 trade certificate qualification.

Work Experience

Minimum of 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
  • Experience with CMMS software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organize, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Build relationships across departments and with suppliers.
Travel Requirements

Up to 13 business days per year (5%).
