We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Global Sustainability team and support the Climate Action Team as part of the Global Sustainability Department. This role will play a crucial part in advancing the critical agendas of the Sustainability Strategy at Oldcastle Inc.: By collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting various sets of complex data, you will ensure that we have the necessary information available for sound decision-making.
Responsibilities
This role includes various responsibilities such as:
- Gathering, cleaning, and organizing relevant sustainability data from various sources.
- Utilizing statistical methods, data visualization tools, and predictive analytics to assess internal and external data and identify trends, correlations, and patterns.
- Creating and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure sustainability performance and progress towards goals. Developing clear and concise sustainability reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Competencies and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environment, sustainability, business, engineering, science, or economics. Relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus. Additionally, minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, perhaps in a consulting organization as a business or finance analyst or equity analyst, is required. You should be highly numerate, with an analytical mindset. Ability to gather and process large amounts of information and data, draw conclusions, and present findings concisely to a range of stakeholders.
