Senior Ecology Consultant

The successful candidate will oversee individual contracts to deliver high-quality ecological consultancy services, providing specialist input across various projects.
About the Role:- Lead the delivery of ecological consultancy services on a variety of projects
- Develop and implement Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs)
- Conduct and supervise ecological surveys and fieldwork activities
- Prepare Appropriate Assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs), Biodiversity Chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and other environmental reporting requirements
- Produce high-quality technical reports and project deliverables
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced ecologist looking to take on a senior role within our team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Strong understanding of Irish wildlife and conservation legislation
- Minimum 10 years' postgraduate experience in environmental consultancy
- Member of CIEEM, CIWEM, or comparable professional body
- Expertise in preparing and overseeing the implementation of Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
- A diverse range of projects in renewable energy, waste management, and civil infrastructure sectors
