Safeguarding Data Protection Professional

This role focuses on managing the protection and privacy of sensitive data, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout our organization. Key responsibilities include investigating and resolving breaches, ensuring incident root cause analysis, supporting business areas in complying with data subject rights, assisting with implementation of lessons learned and Data Protection Impact Assessments.
We are looking for an experienced Data Protection professional with a strong background in governance, risk, and control concepts. This individual will be responsible for identifying effective solutions, making calculated decisions in challenging situations and providing proactive support to various business units. A certified Data Protection Practitioner with excellent communication skills is required to effectively liaise with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Key requirements include demonstrable experience as a Data Protection specialist, knowledge of governance and risk concepts, strong analytical and reporting skills, stakeholder management abilities and outstanding organizational skills.
- Investigate and resolve data breaches
- Ensure incident root cause analysis
- Support business areas in complying with data subject rights requests
- Assist with implementation of lessons learned and Data Protection Impact Assessments
