Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Applications Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including customer interaction, product test, installation and commissioning, documentation and training, and providing technical support.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a small dynamic team of engineers on various projects.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.
  • Involved in new product research & development, design and prototype testing, and setting up / performing suitable test suites.
  • Analyse data & create reports based upon results and validate corrections to conclusion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidate should have 4 years' experience as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer/Technician or similar technical role. Qualified to at least diploma level in a mechanical, electronics or electrical discipline. Experience with prototype building and debug including hardware, electronics, optics, cameras, illumination.

  • Develop appropriate tests for new product or product enhancements, and perform such tests and provide feedback to developers.
  • Good customer facing skills, ability to travel to customer sites and provide installation, set-up, calibration and customer training.
  • Good communication skills required to ensure accurate description of issues to R&D and accurate responses to customers.
