This is a hands-on role with full project ownership — from concept through to commissioning.
We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team focused on designing custom automation and packaging machinery.
Your expertise will be utilised in designing bespoke machines including cartoners, case packers, and tray loaders.
You will create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks.
As the lead design engineer, you will also conduct design reviews and support FAT/SAT activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 8+ years' experience in mechanical design, ideally in automation or special purpose machinery
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM systems
- Good understanding of pneumatics, servo systems, cams, and mechanical drives
- Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Familiarity with robotics, vision systems, or simulation tools
- Knowledge of GMP, CE marking, and machine safety standards
