Job Description

Winthrop Technologies is a leading provider of data centre solutions, offering turnkey projects from design to commissioning. Based in Dublin, we deliver projects across Europe and have established ourselves as the most trusted name in our sector.

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller for a major data centre project in Dublin 15. This role plays a vital part in supporting the smooth operation of a fast-paced construction site environment, ensuring the effective management and control of all project documentation in line with company standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all project documentation adheres to company standards and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Distributing and tracking documents to ensure that all relevant stakeholders receive and have access to the latest versions of project documentation (including drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and reports).
  • Maintaining and updating project registers such as the document register, RFI register, action log, and issue log.
  • Analysing and summarising data from various project logs, highlighting outstanding actions or overdue items.
  • Generating regular reports to support project tracking, including document status updates and overdue reports.
  • Ensuring accurate storage and version control of documents in compliance with project document control procedures.
  • Liaising with external consultants and contractors to ensure their documentation complies with project standards.
  • Supporting Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Health & Safety (HSE) initiatives by assisting with audits and ensuring document-related compliance.

Skills/Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar site-based role.
  • A high level of verbal and written English is essential.
  • Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of knowledge sharing applications is advantageous.
