Operational Services Director

We are seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily operations for a residential services business. This role manages a team of field engineers, ensuring smooth delivery of installations and maintenance, while driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate field engineers, manage scheduling, tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, implement efficient workflows, ensure timely service and resolve issues quickly to meet customer expectations.
- Work closely with the Customer Service Team to handle escalations, monitor feedback, and continuously improve service quality and responsiveness.
- Manage budgets, control operational costs, monitor KPIs and SLAs and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
- Oversee inventory levels, maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment to engineers.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct audits and ensure all team members are trained and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Proven experience in operations management within a service-based industry.
- Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills.
- Proficient in budget management, KPIs and operational reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills.
- Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
