Procurement Management Specialist Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the procurement process, managing sales orders and purchase orders, and ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate procurement activities with Global Source & Supply Managers, Suppliers, OEMs, and other related functions.
  2. Engage directly with Global Source & Supply Managers to confirm component and commodity pricing.
  3. Manage Sales Orders from OEMs and release Purchase Orders to Suppliers, manage supplier shipments (ASN) and goods receipts (GR's) with OEMs end to end.
  4. Ensure all POs, SOs align with the correct pricing, part number, and quantity.
  5. Daily check open or missing ASNs from Suppliers and open or missing GRs from OEMs.
  6. Interact closely with Global Source & Supply Managers, Finance, Suppliers, and OEM to monitor performance and address any supply chain issues.
  7. Collaborate with Finance or other functional teams for resolving any Supplier/OEM payments and drive issue resolution.
  8. Responsible for ensuring closure of all SO/POs, RMA's PA's (Price Adjustments, Credits).
  9. Manage the release of inventory from Apple Owned Inventory Hubs to OEMs.
  10. Responsible for ensuring the data integrity of the various procurement business systems (SAP, MPL, purchasing order, sales order, pricing, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Education Preference: Diploma in IIPMM or IPICS Certification; Degree/Diploma in a Supply Chain or Procurement related field.
  • Possess full knowledge & experience of Procurement Policies/Practices.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (macros, pivot tables, reports) and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar procurement role.
