Quality Control Specialist Position

We are seeking a seasoned QA Manager to join our team in Dublin for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality and commissioning procedures and be able to implement them effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in mission-critical facilities, particularly in Power Generation, Substations, Data Centres, or Oil & Gas. They will also have a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Mentor and train team members on quality and commissioning best practices.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive quality and commissioning procedures.
  3. Drive collaboration across functional teams to achieve innovative solutions in design, installation, start-up, and commissioning.
  4. Proactively identify and mitigate potential quality issues through effective snagging and punch list management.
  5. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Manage relationships with various contractors and suppliers.
  7. Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and protocols.
  8. Facilitate integration of commissioning requirements into project workflows with design and construction teams.
  9. Oversee testing, verification, and validation of critical systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, and IT infrastructure).
  10. Ensure accurate compilation of documentation for testing and inspections related to quality and commissioning.
