Senior Contract Manager Position

A leading contractor is hiring a seasoned Construction Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction projects and lead teams effectively.

  • Closely collaborate with Client, Architectural, Engineering, and EHS Practices in Managing Multiple Discipline (MMD) contracts.
  • Develop comprehensive programs for works including sub-contractors and other disciplines.
  • Ensure adequate resources are available to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate project management, construction, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure every project team member understands their roles and responsibilities.
  • Familiarize yourself with the contract and all relevant addendums.
  • Communicate project progress to company directors.
  • Sit in on pre-start meetings and exercise control over financial administration of construction work.
  • Develop and track project risk registers and recovery strategies.
  • Represent company commercial management and oversee cost/revenue control.
  • Manage procurement and supply chain, develop project communication with stakeholders, and represent the Company at meetings.
  • Lead by example in safety practices to encourage site operatives, clients, and management to adopt the company's ethos and culture.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Construction, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction contract management, ideally with a main contractor in Ireland.
  • Strong understanding of Irish construction regulations, contracts, and building processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, and a solid grasp of budget and financial management.
