Sea Freight Logistics Coordinator">

Our business is seeking a highly skilled Sea Freight Logistics Coordinator to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our logistics department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive and enthusiastic, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage shipment bookings for forwarding operations
  • Track and oversee shipments from initial customer booking to destination arrival and customer payment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients
  • Coordinate with local and international vendors and agents to secure competitive rates and optimal services
  • Collaborate with transport vendors to arrange collections and deliveries
  • Process sales and purchase invoices, addressing any related customer or creditor queries
  • Handle rate requests and prepare quotations
  • Maintain an understanding of customs clearance requirements, including SADs and other relevant documentation
  • Support the development and expansion of sea freight services
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, business or any related field is beneficial
  • Experience working in a previous logistics role is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft programs & IT
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to work on your own initiative
