Job Title: Freight Operations Coordinator

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Freight Operations Coordinator to manage customer accounts, schedule drivers and vehicles, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

This role involves liaising with customers, suppliers, and partners to resolve queries and issues in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment, excellent accuracy and attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

They should also be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.

Familiarity with Microsoft packages and effective communication via email and phone is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Account Management: Manage customer relationships, issue quotations, and convert bookings into sales.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Schedule drivers and vehicles to meet customer requirements and optimize delivery routes.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to customers.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure data entry and administrative tasks are completed correctly.
  • Microsoft Packages: Familiarity with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
