Hotel Duty Manager Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Duty Manager to join our 4-star hotel in Kinsale, Co. Cork.

The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for the effective management of all Food & Beverage - Front of House Operations during their shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and coordinate all areas of the hotel
  • Lead and guide the team as required during service / shift
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail
  • Observe all shift and opening / closing procedures
  • Provide mature leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing busy Food and Beverage operations
  • Outlets and Rooms service experience preferred
  • Candidates need experience managing Conferences, Weddings, and Events
  • Front office training is necessary, with ability to check in/out and assist in this area
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities are essential
  • Reliability, commitment, motivation, and professionalism are required
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Duty Management in a Leisure-style 4-star Hotel in Ireland is preferred
