Project Coordinator Position:

The main focus of this role is to oversee the overall delivery of large-scale projects in various locations across Ireland, UK & Europe.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree or higher diploma in an engineering, construction management, or equivalent field
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience with top-tier contractors
  • Excellent knowledge of current building regulations and certification standards

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Developing project objectives that align with timely delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction goals
  2. Leading the successful completion of projects through effective leadership, management, technical expertise, and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
  3. Monitoring sub-contractor workflows to ensure guidelines are followed
  4. Ensuring the quality of workmanship and materials during construction
  5. Conducting risk assessments
  6. Resolving critical site issues
  7. Coordinating project activities in accordance with the company's quality system, standard procedures, and engineering specifications
  8. Ensuring design teams meet deadlines
  9. Agreeing on project timelines and delivering according to those plans
  10. Hosting site meetings, including progress updates from sub-contractors, and recording minutes as necessary
  11. Attending internal and client meetings as required by the project lead/contracts manager and recording minutes accordingly
  12. Maintaining project schedules and reporting on status regularly
  13. Tracking project controls, monitoring schedule and costs for the project
  14. Managing change requests on the project and reporting accordingly
  15. Collaborating with the health and safety department to ensure a safe working environment at all times
