Job Opportunity:

  • Lead junior engineers in designing and developing advanced machine learning and deep learning models and systems for consumer-facing applications such as search retrieval, content personalization, and product recommendation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce new projects or expand existing ones using state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.
  • Establish metrics and design A/B test plans to evaluate model performance offline and online.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather product requirements, architecture design, and code reviews.
  • Extract insights from large datasets using modern big data technologies.
  • Implement reusable code according to standard methodologies in Python, conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Drive technology strategy and product roadmap through ML/AI expertise.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science/Statistics/Data Science with a focus on machine learning.
  • Industry experience in designing and implementing large-scale search retrieval and ranking models.
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial machine learning products from conception to production.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MLlib.
  • Experience in developing various ML models using structured and unstructured data.
  • Industry experience in A/B testing.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Experience with software engineering principles, modern ML tech stacks, and cloud services like AWS for machine learning development and deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
