Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Operator to join our team.
This role is responsible for receiving, handling, and dispatching cargo in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with the supervisor to deliver and exceed contractual customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the warehouse area.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure cargo conditions are documented on arrival and any discrepancies are recorded.
- Perform visual inspections of mechanical handling equipment and report any faults.
- Assess the condition of trailers to be loaded to ensure they are safe and suitable for their purpose.
- Complete necessary paperwork.
- Maintain a good working environment in a safe and tidy manner.
Previous experience handling International Import/Export/Domestic cargo is an advantage. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
You will work within Health and Safety regulations as well as those stated in IMDG/ADR requirements.
Fulfilling company policy on security and quality, you must always maintain a high standard of responsibility in the warehouse.
