International Trade Compliance Specialist

This is a pivotal role in our supply chain, requiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to oversee and optimize customs operations across Ireland.

The successful candidate will lead a team ensuring full compliance with Irish and EU customs legislation while supporting efficient movement of goods throughout our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure Full Customs Compliance: Oversee and manage all customs-related activities to ensure compliance with Irish and EU customs legislation.
  2. Lead Customs Strategy: Develop and implement efficient customs processes and controls that align with our logistics and supply chain strategies.
  3. Liaise with Authorities & Stakeholders: Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies.
  4. Customs Declarations Oversight: Manage and review customs declarations and documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential customs and trade compliance risks.
  6. Support Import Operations: Provide guidance on customs clearance processes for product imports.
  7. Monitor Regulatory Changes: Stay up to date on changes in customs legislation and assess their impact on our operations.
