Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to lead our dedicated Motor Trade team. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the motor trade insurance department, ensuring exceptional service delivery, team performance, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of insurance professionals, fostering a positive and results-driven environment.
- Performance Management: Set clear performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient daily operations, adherence to company procedures, and seamless workflow within the department.
- Client Relations: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, addressing complex queries and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, contributing to the growth of the motor trade insurance portfolio.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Educational Background: CIP, MDI, or ACII qualification is essential.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 8 years in the insurance industry, with experience in motor trade insurance and people management preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of motor trade insurance products and services.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
