Latin American Spanish In-Game Content Specialist

We are seeking an expert to create engaging and accurate in-game content for a leading mobile games publisher. The role will involve translating and transcreating player support, community, and in-game content from English into Latin American Spanish. A strong passion for the gaming industry is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate/transcreate player support, community, and in-game content from English to Latin American Spanish to a high quality standard.
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks in game.
  • Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved.
  • Suggest process improvements that will deliver on goal of optimal translation quality.
  • Collaborate with linguists in other languages on cross-group quality objectives.

Requirements:

  • Native level Latin American Spanish
  • Passion for games industry
  • Educational qualification in linguistics
  • Experience in translation, copywriting or linguistics
  • Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Latin American Spanish and English
  • Good PC knowledge, including knowledge of MS office products
