Job Title: Pharmaceutical Chemistry Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth analysis of pharmaceutical products to ensure patient safety and product integrity.
- Conduct advanced analytical techniques such as FTIR and LC-MS to verify formulation components and identify unknown substances.
- Monitor degradation products and related compounds according to ICH guidelines.
- Identify and quantify residual solvents as per ICH Q3C requirements.
The role involves analyzing critical physical properties to support formulation stability and performance, including pH and osmolality, particle size and melting point. Method development and testing for dissolution and drug release profiles across immediate, delayed, and extended-release formulations is also required.
Full compendial and non-compendial testing will be performed to qualify pharmaceutical excipients and APIs prior to use in manufacturing. Long-term and accelerated stability testing under ICH conditions will be carried out to support shelf-life, packaging, and formulation decisions.
