
Autism Service Manager

The Autism Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an adult autism accredited service. This includes ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and implementing organizational policies and procedures to support best practice in disability services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality care plans are developed and implemented for residents, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing mentorship and supervision to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals and advocates, to ensure residents receive comprehensive support.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote independence, citizenship, and community engagement among residents.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in social care or a related field is required.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in health or social care is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
