Apartment Development Manager
Our leading client is seeking an experienced Apartment Development Manager to oversee a large-scale apartment development in Dublin.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in managing residential apartment builds, with strong knowledge of building detail and construction technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site staff and sub-contractors to ensure works are progressing as planned.
- Implement company health and safety procedures.
- Establish and monitor the construction programme.
- Review designs and make recommendations on buildability and cost saving while maintaining quality and improving margin.
- Coordinate timely flow of information from the design team and prepare information required schedules/RFIs as necessary.
- Closely liaise with the contracts manager/construction director to ensure business objectives and project strategies are met and exceeded.
- Work with project QSs to manage project finances and work to exceed budget targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering or construction qualification.
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role.
- Team management experience and ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines.
- Strong IT skills with use of Word, Excel, MS Project.
Benefits:
- Salary €75K-€95k depending on experience.
