About This Role

We are seeking caring professionals to provide person-centred care to residents in a nursing home setting.

As a caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care according to residents' needs and care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate care to residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
  • Understand residents' needs and preferences, providing tailored support and companionship.
  • Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily living activities, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Support residents with eating, drinking, and achieving comfort, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
  • Participate in and help organise social activities, promoting engagement and community spirit.
  • Maintain effective communication with families and colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Adhere to relevant policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
  • Must possess EU citizenship or equivalent.
  • Hold QQI Level 5 or equivalent qualifications, such as Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Nurse Assistant, or related fields.
  • Experience in elderly care is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Exhibit excellent organisational and observation skills, with a professional and compassionate nature.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
