Job Overview:

We are a leading provider of education services seeking an experienced and passionate Montessori teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Montessori method, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with Aistear and Montessori principles.
  • Foster social, emotional, and academic growth in students through encouragement and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including those requiring AIM support.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in Montessori education and incorporate new ideas into teaching methods.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 7 or 8 qualification in Montessori Education (minimum of a Level 5 in Early Education required).
  • At least one year experience with the Irish Curriculum/Framework.
  • Good understanding of national frameworks Aistear and Solta.
  • Experience working with children who require additional support.
  • Previous experience working as an AIM support is preferred but not essential.
