Management Accountant Job Description

In this senior accounting role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our client's business.

  • Month-End Close Activities: Collaborate with the Financial Controller to execute journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage processes including supplier payments and creditor reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Oversee daily cash flow monitoring to support effective working capital management.
  • VAT Returns: Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Processing: Support payroll activities and coordinate with external providers to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate monthly management reports, including profit and loss statements and detailed variance analyses.
  • Audit Preparations: Assist the Financial Controller in preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to audit queries.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
