Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Support Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our service owners, providing person-centred care and support that meets individual needs and promotes independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily living support, including personal care, health, and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with service owners to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Administer and document prescribed medication as required.
- Report incidents and complaints to management.
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
- Registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board by CORU.
- QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Healthcare or equivalent.
- Hold a full driving license.
- Prior experience in social care or healthcare.
- Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Garda Vetting/Police Clearance.
