Job Role Overview
This role presents an opportunity to work within a large-scale environment, leveraging cutting-edge technology on a high-profile project. We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist - Material Management to join our team in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing (TOC, pH, Conductivity) of water samples and analyze raw materials using HPLC, KF, UV, IR, and wet chemistry techniques.
- Ensure timely and accurate laboratory documentation as directed by the QC Material Management Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and registered specifications.
- Assist in authoring and reviewing documentation, including SOPs, as required.
- Review batch paperwork and reconcile analyses performed in the laboratory.
- Investigate any out-of-specification results according to site procedures.
- Support technical transfer of new projects.
- Assist with out-of-specification investigations and deviations using the Infinity system.
- Manage sample handling activities, ensuring chain of custody is maintained using CIMS and LIMS.
- Stay up-to-date with current corporate and industry requirements and compliance trends related to laboratory operations and aseptic manufacturing.
- Perform other tasks as indicated by the Lab Supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team-based collaborative environment.
- The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of a third-level qualification (Degree) in Chemistry/Biology or a related discipline along with extensive experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare laboratory or related technical function.
