Construction Cost Manager

Our organization seeks a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates, cost plans, and standard documentation.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and valuations, including re-measurement as necessary and adjusting variations.
- Analyze tenders and prepare comprehensive tender reports at all stages of procurement.
- Collaborate with the project team to settle construction disputes and loss and expense claims.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT skills, strong communication abilities, and a BSc in a construction-related discipline. Previous experience in a professional consultancy is highly desirable, particularly with pre- and post-contract exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage cost plans, ensuring accurate budgeting and financial control.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Provide expert advice on cost management and contract administration.
Requirements:
- Chartered status or equivalent (desired)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
