This is a senior-level position in the field of psychology, requiring expertise and experience in delivering high-quality psychological services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Job Description:The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support to individuals and their families. They will also participate in case conferences, provide professional reports, and liaise with other professionals and organizations as required.
Responsibilities:- Deliver a range of psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and support to individuals and their families.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and organizations to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
- Provide training and support to parents and staff on topics such as parenting support, children's mental health, and well-being.
- Identify training needs and support ongoing professional development among psychology staff.
- Carry out research relevant to the organization and keep up-to-date with best practice procedures.
- Degree in Psychology or related field.
- Professional registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
