About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our operations team for a payments platform. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous stream of payments data is accurate and reliable.

This requires a deep understanding of complex software product architecture and infrastructure design to support scalability. You will actively monitor production health, identifying and addressing issues promptly. Additionally, you will work closely with business units to identify opportunities for improvement and execute product development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, relevant experience supporting critical production applications, and expertise in Java, scripting languages, SQL, and NoSQL databases. Experience with application monitoring and profiling tools, container technology, and CI/CD systems is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure to support the platform
  • Monitor production health, identifying and addressing issues promptly
  • Work closely with business units to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Execute product development to support business initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Relevant experience supporting critical production applications
  • Fundamental knowledge in Java and fluency in scripting languages such as Bash and/or Python
  • Significant experience querying and modifying data in SQL and NoSQL databases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in financial systems
  • Experience with application monitoring and profiling tools
  • Familiarity with container technology and CI/CD systems
