Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Pyschological Therapist to join our team at National Learning Network in Dublin. The successful candidate will develop and implement psychological interventions that meet individual service-users' needs, providing holistic assessment and direct support and guidance to service-users and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Supporting students/service users and staff to identify personal goals and learning, social, emotional, cognitive needs
2. Preparing students/service users for Individual Action Plan (IAP) or Person-Centred Planning meetings
3. Contributing to intake assessments
4. Undertaking appropriate psychological assessments using data from psychological tests, self-report measures, direct and indirect observations, and interviews with students/service users and other stakeholders
5. Summarising the results of clinical assessments in professional and accessible reports in line with professional standards and the intended audience
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's or Doctorate level qualification in Psychology, recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland. Chartered membership (or eligibility) with the Psychological Society of Ireland or British Psychological Society is also required. At least 3 years of work experience in the field of Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability is essential.
