BIM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Officer to join its Investment Services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting on budgeted expenditure of EMFAF grants.

Responsibilities include collecting financial statistics and indicators for grant performance and monitoring actual expenditure against budget.

This role supports Ireland's obligations under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF 2021 to 2027).

About this opportunity

We are looking for an individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, who can provide accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions.

Candidates should have experience in financial management, preferably within a government agency or similar organisation.

A strong understanding of budgeting and financial planning processes is essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office software.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills are also required, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
