We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Practice Accountant.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze and present financial reports for clients.
- Provide strategic financial advice to support business decision-making.
- Develop budgeting and forecasting models to aid client financial planning.
- Audit Management:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for a variety of clients.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and address areas of risk and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Insolvency Solutions:
- Manage insolvency cases including members voluntary liquidations, creditors voluntary liquidations and strike offs.
- Liaise with creditors, debtors and legal representatives.
- Develop and implement strategies for asset recovery and distribution.
- Tax Compliance Specialist:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning advice and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Address client queries and provide timely, accurate advice.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations as needed.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a practice environment.
- Extensive experience in Accounting, Auditing, Insolvency, Tax and Tax Compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
