We are seeking a seasoned Heavy Building Material Manager to oversee the procurement, stock management, and coordination of heavy building materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Management: Manage heavy building materials inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely deliveries.
  • Supplier Liaison: Engage with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate delivery terms.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Accounting Coordination: Collaborate with the accounting team to process invoices and ensure payment terms are met.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, complaints, and providing product information.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate documentation.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with sales representatives to discuss new orders, delivery schedules, and special customer requirements.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale issues.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the heavy building materials or construction industry.
  • Inventory Management: Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in the building materials or construction supply industry, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Quotation and Order Management: Experience handling quotations, orders, and customer communications is essential.
