Trainee Automotive Technician Opportunity

This 24-month training programme is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the automotive industry.

As a Trainee Automotive Technician, you will participate in a comprehensive training schedule that covers all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.

You will be trained at Tesla facilities in Heathrow and/or Manchester, with opportunities to work across UK & Ireland locations including Cork and Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and understand how to perform basic inspections, repairs & maintenance of vehicles
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain professionalism at all times
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, workload, and deadlines
  • Pass the mid-point and end-point programme assessments to graduate from the programme
Requirements:
  • Prior experience with tools, diagnostics, or repair processes - through formal education, professional work experience, or personal projects
  • NVQ/IMI diploma in vehicle maintenance is desirable, but practical know-how and willingness to learn on the job are welcome
  • Holding a Full UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year by start date
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Safety-first attitude
  • Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional conduct; able to represent the company positively
