Plumbing Inspector Role

We are seeking a skilled plumber to perform quality assurance inspections on energy retrofit works in line with SEAI standards and codes of practice.

The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate completion of inspection documentation via digital tools or paper, and provide advice to homeowners, contractors, and internal teams regarding energy upgrades and scheme compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality assurance inspections on energy retrofit works in line with SEAI standards and codes of practice.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of inspection documentation via digital tools or paper.
  • Offer advice to homeowners, contractors, and internal teams regarding energy upgrades and scheme compliance.

Requirements:

  • FETAC Level 6 qualification in Plumbing is mandatory.
  • Solid knowledge of domestic construction and heating systems is essential.
  • Comfortable working in a field-based autonomous role is required.
  • Clear communication skills especially with homeowners and contractors are necessary.

Working Conditions:

  • Inspectors work within their local region within 2 hours' drive from their home base.
  • Occasional travel outside the region may be required with overnight hotel stays arranged and covered including a food allowance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RGII registration.
  • Heat Pump Installation training.
