Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our finance team and support the business with high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Maintenance of accurate balance sheet reconciliations and integrity of the general ledger.
  • Support for management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Provision of financial insight and analysis to aid decision-making within manufacturing operations.
  • Assistance with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes.
  • Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and reporting efficiency.
  • Business partnership with operations to monitor costs, margins, and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with 2 years post qualification experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment essential.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Sage and Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge (ERP exposure desirable).
  • Cost accounting experience an advantage.
  • Experienced in stock taking, reconciliation, and valuation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
