Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a qualified professional to assume key financial reporting responsibilities within our organization. This role requires expertise in preparing and reviewing various financial statements, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including analysis of balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Review and finalize statutory financial statements, ensuring adherence to established accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during periodic and year-end review procedures for local statutory audits.
  • Liaise with tax specialists and advisors to ensure compliance with all external reporting requirements.
  • Support SOX compliance and reporting efforts by assisting with documentation and audit procedures.
  • Post journals at month end, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations at month end, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA equivalent) with strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Third-level degree or equivalent, preferably in a field related to finance or accounting.
  • 0-5 years relevant experience, preferably within a shared service centre or multinational corporation environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP/Oracle or other major ERP systems is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing competing deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
