Job Title: Quality Technician

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team at a global pharmaceutical company in Carlow. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting multiple capital projects and working on a state-of-the-art fill-finish facility.

The role includes:

  • Performing routine testing in support of manufacturing and batch release with high-quality documentation.
  • Reviewing microbiological test data from utilities and environmental monitoring samples.
  • Maintaining organisational skills to manage all aspects of a given assay.
  • Ensuring SOPs/forms are up to date with latest requirements and improvements/optimisation's/lean.
  • Supporting process simulations.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrating awareness of safety for self and others in all aspects of work.
  • Understanding analysis of data generated in the lab.
  • Maintaining laboratory housekeeping standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry (within Microbiology).
  • Knowledge of cGMP and GDP.
  • Laboratory Quality Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications required.
  • Understanding of Lean six Sigma Methodology preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in science related discipline.

As a Quality Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including capital projects and process simulations. You will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory housekeeping standards and ensuring that SOPs and forms are up to date.
