Procurement Officer Opportunity

This is a unique chance for a driven and detail-oriented procurement professional to join our organization as their HEO Procurement Officer.


About the Role:
  • We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to coordinate all procurement activities, ensuring adherence to Public Procurement Guidelines, EU legislation, internal policies/procedures, and best practice.
  • The ideal candidate will manage the full procurement process, including tender assessment and evaluation support, provision of feedback to tenderers, contract preparation, post-contract review.
  • They will also develop and maintain a corporate procurement plan and rolling annual procurement plan, ensuring regular review and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • In addition, they will ensure contracts register is maintained.
  • Responsibilities include developing a contract management policy and overseeing its implementation.
  • The successful candidate will monitor and evaluate supplier performance (using relevant KPIs) to measure performance against agreed standards and Service Level Agreements.
  • They will review, update, and develop in-house policies and procedures, including procedures on using the E-tenders procurement website.
  • As the main point of contact for external procurement consultants and for all procurement-related queries, they will establish and maintain strong relationships with all business areas, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
