We are seeking an experienced Process Engineering Manager to lead projects in food manufacturing using Evaporation and Spray Drying techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects in regulated food manufacturing using Evaporation and Spray Drying techniques.
- Model and explain automated processes to the team.
- Coach and develop the technical team.
- Ensure new equipment is validated to QA standards.
- Prepare process flows, specs, and operating instructions.
- Monitor key variables (temperature, pressure, viscosity) during production.
- Troubleshoot process/equipment issues cross-functionally.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Food Process Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- Prior experience in Dairy/Food Process Engineering is preferred.
- Knowledge of spray drying or evaporation is a plus.
- Experience with thermal dairy processing is desirable.
- Familiarity with powder conveying systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of ATEX environments can be beneficial.
- Strong experience in automated pharma/food manufacturing is essential.
