The Merck Group is seeking an experienced Process Safety and EHS Professional to join their team in Cork. As a key member of the EHS department, you will be responsible for driving improvements in existing EHS management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations such as COMAH and Seveso.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading EHS assessments and approvals for process and equipment changes
- Providing EHS support to site operations to ensure compliance with Lower Tier SEVESO and ATEX requirements
- Interpreting regulatory changes and providing guidance on Health and Safety legislation
- Maintaining relationships with the EHS team and Operational Area Managers to develop and implement EHS strategies
