Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Cork, Ireland.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Ensure safe stacking of goods in the yard and efficient loading/unloading of lorries.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts and other machinery as required.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks on plant equipment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as necessary to support business operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience operating a forklift (Reach & Counter Balance).
  • Health and Safety: Good appreciation for health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills and good understanding of English language.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and willingness to learn.
  • Attitude: Positive can-do attitude and commitment to achieving business goals.
