Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to protect our assets and manage claims. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a highly organized individual to conduct risk-based investigations and gather information regarding facts, defenses, and claimed injuries for low to medium complexity claims with minor supervision.
  • The successful candidate will partner with third-party administrators to understand applicable statutory and regulatory schemes and ensure necessary information is gathered and optimal process is followed.
  • They will effectively leverage restaurant management, HR, security, safety, and other resources to support cost-effective claims management.
  • The candidate will conduct early case assessment and continuously evaluate several key factors, including available facts and evidence related to potential liability on claim, applicable statutory and regulatory scheme, and other considerations that could impact ultimate risk.
  • They will identify and execute effective negotiation and settlement strategy, and, if applicable, align effective litigation strategy.
  • The chosen candidate will develop rapport with injured individuals or damaged parties to gather information, provide guidance, and facilitate the claims process.
  • They will manage claims portfolio with a goal of cost-effective and timely resolution of claims where possible.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in GL or W/C claim handling.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task are essential.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, management and influence skills, including ability to effectively listen and communicate are required.
  • Precise analytical skills are necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication are expected.
  • Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical and financial calculations in an accurate manner based on a variety of independent variables is needed.
  • Strong collaborative partnership and cross-functional leadership skills are desired.
