Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the development and delivery of transport projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects are delivered with minimal disruption and no adverse impact on stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and taking corrective action where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management, preferably in the transport sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is essential.
