At Thorntons Recycling, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Head Office at Parkwest Business Park.

This role will provide crucial support to the HR Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes across all facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Filing and scanning HR records to the HR System.
  2. Managing new starter processes, inductions, contracts, work permits, and other essential documents.
  3. Responding to general staff and management HR queries with professionalism and sensitivity.
  4. Handling all employee matters consistently in line with company values, emphasizing confidentiality and discretion.
  5. Coordinating recruitment activities as required, including advertising, screening CVs, arranging interviews, and communicating with payroll.
  6. Liaising between Payroll and HR to ensure updates are communicated effectively.

This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, working 37.5 hours per week with a salary based on experience (DOE).
