Industrial Electrician/Commissioning Engineer Job Description

This role involves overseeing electrical installations of various sizes, including commissioning and testing.

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, supporting project delivery teams, and delivering electrical installations.
  • Additional duties include installing and commissioning instrumentation and equipment, reading and understanding working drawings and schematics, conducting initial power-up tests, and setting up instrumentation in the field.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a trade qualification in electrical or E&I RECI, with 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience.

  • Mechanical experience is advantageous, as is proficiency in commissioning and process proving of MEICA systems.
  • Ability to liaise with customers and work independently are also essential.
