Performance Development Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Strength & Conditioning Practitioner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner with ambitions to direct their skills and experience to Strength & Conditioning delivery in a performance sport environment.
The successful candidate will support the physical preparation of athletes, provide valuable input to coaching initiatives, and gain exposure to other Sport Science interventions.
Key Responsibilities:- Support athletes to transition towards a Performance environment leading to success on the international stage.
- Plan and attend swim meets and/or swim camps to support National Centre, National Programme, and/or Regional Squad/Programme athletes.
- Work contracted hours to fulfil the requirements of the post, including unsocial hours.
- Travel within Ireland for meetings and secondments as necessary.
- Hold and maintain recognised Strength & Conditioning Association coaching qualification/accreditation.
As part of this role, you will benefit from opportunities to work at the highest levels of the sport, receive formal and informal professional development, and be part of a journey promoting athlete development.
About the Role:This is a part-time coaching contract for approximately 12 hours per week during 2025, with a proposed start date of Monday 6th January 2025 as part of a one-year contract.
